1. Who is responsible for your data?

The PrikPrak app and websites are owned and managed by PHKemper Marketing. They are responsible for protecting your privacy under the law (GDPR).

2. What personal data do we process?

For the use of the application, we process only the necessary data:

• Name / Username
• Email address
• Login credentials (email addresses and passwords are stored in encrypted form only)
• Payment details and transaction history (for processing subscriptions via our payment partner Mollie)
• IP address and technical log data (for security purposes and system administration)

3. What do we use your data for?

We process your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

1. Providing access to the PrikPrak application and managing your account and subscription.
2. Authentication and security, including verifying your identity when logging in and sending messages to reset your password.
3. Financial processing and invoicing, including processing payments, direct debits, and sending payment confirmations and invoices via Mollie.
4. System administration and support for inquiries or technical assistance.

4. Cookies and Sessions

PrikPrak uses exclusively functional cookies and session technologies. This means the following:

• Temporary cookies: These cookies are necessary for the app to work properly. For example, they make sure you stay logged in during your visit.
• No tracking or marketing cookies: We do not place tracking cookies, third-party analytical cookies, or marketing/tracking pixels to track your browsing behavior across other websites.

5. AI Processing and Stores / Price Data

PrikPrak uses smart features, such as AI to read recipes and gathering prices from external stores and supermarkets.

• AI interpretation of recipes: When recipes, ingredients, or meal plans are analyzed or interpreted by artificial intelligence (AI), no personal data is transmitted to or shared with the AI ​​service provider.
• Price and store data: When retrieving current price information, offers, or product ranges from stores and supermarket chains, we transmit only product and search data. Personal data, location data, or user IDs are never exchanged with these external stores or chains.

6. Data Security (Encryption & Storage in the Netherlands)

Security and privacy by design are central to PrikPrak:

• Encrypted storage of personal data: All personal data (such as your name and email address) is stored with strong encryption in our database.
• Data centers in the Netherlands: All PrikPrak data and databases are physically stored on servers within the Netherlands.
• Secure connections: All data transmission between your devices and our servers takes place via a secure HTTPS connection (SSL/TLS).

7. Sharing data with third parties (Mollie)

We never sell your data to third parties. For the secure processing of payments and recurring direct debits, we use the payment service provider Mollie B.V.. Mollie acts as an independent data controller for financial transactions and processes payment details in accordance with the strictest safety standards. In addition, data is only shared if strictly necessary for technical service delivery or based on a legal obligation.

8. Retention period

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary to provide PrikPrak services. If you decide to delete your account, all your personal data will be permanently erased from our systems (with the exception of data that we are required to retain longer pursuant to tax legislation).

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, and transfer your data.
